#7 What's on my nails?

Hey Everyone,

I hope all is well. So, I have finally broken away from my beloved Formula X nail polish (which is still amazing!) To try a new nail polish, which my lovely sister got for me from South Africa - who knew they had Inglot in SA!

Firstly, this colour is beautiful! I am super into the colour purple at the moment (purple hair, purple nails, purple lipstick etc.) I actually didn't have a proper purple nail polish in my collection before this one :O! I love that this one is a slightly metallic purple and has a slight pink undertone, which brightens the colour slightly.

It terms of application - it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't a breeze. You definitely need two coats with this one.

Longevity: I can't say too much on that as I've only had it on for like a day, but it has survived one day in the office with no chipping :)! So, I shall have to let you know how it goes! (it has large shoes to fill, in the place of the Formula X!)

I hope you are enjoying the warm weather and have enjoyed this post!

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads // A Review

Hey Everyday,

So, my skincare routine has been transformed! I know this was quite a while ago, but I had the opportunity to meet the fabulous Caroline Hirons in Space NK in Brighton.

She has such a refreshing personality and her no nonsense attitude towards skincare is wonderful! If you don't read her blog (why aren't you?!?), she literally speaks like she does on her blog! Which I love!

Cheeky photo :P

So, during our half an hour chat, Caroline told me I needed some acid in my life! "I was like okay, I need acid!" Slightly terrified how my sensitive skin would react to this! But, I went on her recommendation and ordered the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads.

Now, I had read some reviews on these before and some people found them to harsh to use twice daily. I do not agree with this statement! I have had no problem using these pads twice a day after cleansing, followed by a hydrating toner or spray. I have found that I have had reduced breakouts on my chin and the flakey skin on my nose gone.

The only thing I would say is they are quite expensive at £20 for only 60 pads, which has only lasted me about a month! So, I reckon these shall be a treat now and again.

I have already ordered my next lot of acid (Pixi glow tonic). I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!

Inglot Freedom Palette // A Review

Hey Everyone,

If you didn't already know, I went to IMATS this year! (This is like my fifth time mentioning it - feeling a bit like a parrot!) So, of course, I had to hit up the Inglot stand which had up to 50% off! Amazeballs!

I have tried Inglot products in the past, mainly lipgloss and cream foundation. Although, I had never tried their eyeshadows, which have been compared to the likes of Urban decay and MAC eyeshadows. So, they must be good!

 From the left: 353, 344, 342, 405, 452

Here are the swatches.

So, I think the first thing to say is that these shadows are so soft and buttery. They are highly pigmented and last incredibly well. I think 405 (the bronzy-orange shade) is my favourite, as it is beautifully metallic and has gorgeous colour pay off.

I've been wearing the first three shadows as an everyday neutral combo and they have lasted so well, with minimal creasing. Overall, I've been pretty happy with them!

I think the only downside to this freedom palette is that once the shadows are in the palette it is incredibly difficult to remove them! You have to use a sharp knife or some small nail scissors. But apart from that I am pleased :D!

They are normally £4.50 each, which I think is a steal for the quality of the product! Then the palette is £7.00. Therefore, it is fair to say I shall be definitely getting some more of these.

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!

NEW Video // IMATS haul 2014

Hey Everyone,

If you haven't already seen from my various social media outlets, I went to IMATS in London this year! I had the most amazing time - I was like a kid in a sweet shop! I went with my baby sister, Amy, and my good friend, Allie (Living life in docs).

I bullied my sister into joining me in the haul video. I had such fun making this video, and I hope you enjoy it!

WARNING! Makeup overload! WARNING!

I also vlogged the whole day - this was my first vlog on my Youtube channel. So, if you didn't get chance to go to IMATS this year, this is what happened...

I hope you enjoyed this post and are having a lovely day!

City Pharma Haul // Paris 2014

Hey Everyone,

I hope all is well! I am currently writing this while sat on a train heading to Amstersam (we are currently travelling through Belgium). So, while in Paris, the land of the pharmacy, I had to make a trip to City Pharma :)! I had made a list prior to going and I picked up a couple of things I've had my eye on.

Nuxe Reve de Miel - this is a cult product for many bloggers; miss Allie (living life in docs) included. When I saw it was only €6.90 I had to get one to give it a go! It smells heavenly and feels über fancy in it's heavy glass container. So far I'm loving it!

Bioderma Crealine H2O - I already love this product and I just wanted to restock on my travel size! (If anyone has worked out how to transfer product from the large to small bottle please let me know!) I used to use it for removing my eye makeup at the end of the day, but now I just use it for touching up mistakes on my eyeliner!

Embryolisse lait-creme concentrate - Again, this is considered a cult product; though having combination skin I thought it would be too heavy for my skin. However, having oily skin doesn't mean it's hydrated skin. So, I've been trying a couple of these sorts of products out recently (at night mostly). We shall see how I get on with this one...

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) - This is something I've had my eye on for a while. And considered a cult product for many bloggers - it is designed to address problem skin with blemishes (and this one is supposed to help with scarring too). So, I'm super excited to see if this helps improve my skin.

Mavala Mavadry spray - I have never tried a nail polish dryer before, but I know people like Anna (vivianna does make up) rave about them. And I'm super impatient when it comes to letting my nails dry. I saw this in city Pharma and had never seen this in boots; so I picked it up! I used it the other day on my new nail polish (see post here). I definitely felt an instant drying effect and my nails felt pretty knock-proof within 2 hours!

I hope you enjoyed this post and are having a lovely day!

#6 What is on my nails?

Hey Everyone,

I hope all is well! Well if you couldn't tell from my Instagram I am in PARIS! :D I'm having an amazing time and the weather has been great!

So, of course - I went to sephora! :D and picked up one of the Formula X polishes in Extraordinary. So, I had to tell you my first impressions.

First off it's so opaque - literally one coat would have been good enough! It was super easy to apply and the colour is beautiful! :P

So, I may have to pick one more colour before I go! ;)
I hope you enjoyed this post and have had a lovely day!
