I hope you are all well! I have been super busy with settling back into Brighton and Uni life! But I have a new video for you all today! I have been using some new products as Autumn is creeping up to us :P!
This has been my go-to-look for a couple of weeks now - I hope you like it! It's nice and simple, and I'm sure you can find alternatives if you don't have the exact products I use.
I will hopefully get back to some sort of regular routine with my blog :)
As always, I hope you are all having a lovely day!
I have another video for you today! I have been keeping this bag of empty bottles and packaging so I could film my first empties video! Yay!
Now, I love watching other people do these sorts of videos, so I wanted to get in on the fun! When I filmed this it appeared that something at leaked into the bag so the products were all nice and oily (lovely!) I still have no idea where it came from :/
Anyway...I hope you enjoy this video!
I hope you've been enjoying my videos recently and I hope you have a lovely day!
I hope you are all well. I am back, safely from my holiday in Italy - I had an amazing time! I would 100% recommend going to Sorrento if you have never been.
Even if you just go for view!
Now, there were some technical difficulties when it came to editing this video before I left last Friday. It involved a lot of crying and wanting to throw my laptop out of the window (we've all been there!) But, the issue has been resolved and it is here! I hope you enjoy it!
How I pack my make up for my holiday!
I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!
So, everyone who knows me, knows I am a complete noobe when it comes to editing and blogging! And when I say blogging I mean the technical side of blogging. I only just worked out how to put my google analytics code into my template! Stressful times - I didn't understand why it kept saying "Error has occurred"!
But anyway, I digress....
For this post I was going to include the links I found, which really helped me understand more about HTML and how to make your blog side bar look pretty!
I use Blogger to edit my posts - if you didn't know :P
If you haven't already seen from my various social media outlets, I went to IMATS in London this year! I had the most amazing time - I was like a kid in a sweet shop! I went with my baby sister, Amy, and my good friend, Allie (Living life in docs).
I bullied my sister into joining me in the haul video. I had such fun making this video, and I hope you enjoy it!
WARNING! Makeup overload! WARNING!
I also vlogged the whole day - this was my first vlog on my Youtube channel. So, if you didn't get chance to go to IMATS this year, this is what happened...
I hope you enjoyed this post and are having a lovely day!
I hope you are all well! I know my scheduling has been all over the place! :/ I swear I take on too much - so unfortunately my blogging and videos have to be put on the back-burner atm! :(
On a side note, Cheekysmiles101 is also going through some serious re-styling plans which I am soooo excited about! So look out for the new changes - they are going to be awesome!
So, here is my new video! :D I hope you enjoy it and have fun playing with colour!
I hope you enjoyed this post and are having a lovely day!
so, here is a post I can really sink my teeth into (sorry - had to be done!) I love food so this post shouldn't be too difficult!
1. Pizza
2. ---cheese
3. I'm a student, so of course I had to mention pasta.
4. Chicken Kiev's
5. I love mashed potato (with cheese :P)
6. Chocolate (anything will chocolate!)
7. Broccoli is my favourite green vegetable. When I was younger we used to call them "trees"
8. Katsu curry stir-fry sauce - if you have never tried go to Sainsbury's and get on that!
9. Sushi!
10. I'm a big sandwich eater!
Nice short post today! I'm in the process of uploading my May Favourites on my YouTube channel -- www.youtube.com/user/Cheekysmiles101 -- so look out for that!
I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!
My new video is up and it is all about the red lip! I've never owned a orange-based red before Lady Danger from MAC. I absolutely love it - definitely gonna be wearing this look a lot over the summer!
What are your favourite reds?
I hope you enjoy this video and are having a lovely day!
I hope everyone is well! I thought today that I would write a post to compliment my new video (which shall be linked at the end!) So, I went to the Body Shop for a little splurge; as I had a £20 off £40 code! Which is still on btw: http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk
I thought I'd start off my saying, the service in the Brighton store was lovely! I spoke to a very friendly consultant called Hannah, who was extremely knowledgeable of all the products!
On another note: if you are a student then you can sign up for the love your body card - for free! This awesome card (shown on the left) gives you 10% off your purchase, and if you spend £10 or more, you will get a stamp on your card! On the 4th stamp you will receive a free gift worth up to £5, and on the 8th stamp a free gift up to £10! And a birthday gift (worth up to £5) - need I say more students! (Click here for more details)
I'll just mention a few things about the products that I bought!
"Add
some zest to your regular beauty regime and help revive dull looking skin by
adding vitamin c for skin to your routine."
So, I'll be honest - I picked this up because I liked the smell! Hannah had me try it in store and the scent just made me instantly happier. Also, my skin felt lovely and soft after application.
This product is supposed to brighter dull skin, and energize your skin!
I believe the Camomile collection is one of the Body Shop's newest ones, and everyone has been raving about this oil!
So, with my code I just had to pick this up! Also, I'm running low on my MAC cleanse off oil :(! And at the moment, that doesn't really run in my price range (student problems!)
I really like this! I would almost go as far to say it is better than the MAC oil! Firstly, love the smell; as it reminds me of going on holiday for some reason :)! Secondly, it's just the right consistency, I don't like oils too thin or too thick - this seems just right! Finally, it takes off all your make-up so gently, even waterproof make-up!
Then, I have my recommendation from Living life in Docs :) I have now used this two nights in a row as a sleep-in moisture mask - and I LOVE IT! My skin feels super soft and happy in the morning! And (by some miracle) my spots don't seem as angry, and I don't seem to have as many! I will definitely be trying out more from this range in the future! “Loved since 1977, our vitamin e skincare range has stood the test of time. If you’re concerned about the damaging effects of the environment on your skin, our vitamin e range can help to protect against pollution, cigarette smoke and UVA/UVB rays.”
I know I just bought a cleanser - but this one intrigued me! And Hannah spoke very highly of this range; as she appeared to have the same skin problems as myself!
“Designed for combination skin, our seaweed skincare helps to restore
balance and control excess oil to help give you a shine-free, matte finish.”
I preferred the look of this one to the gel one; as gel's seem to be more drying in my opinion. I have to say - I was unsure of this product (as you shall see in the video). Though after using it a couple of days now I'm starting to like this product :) It is very cooling on the skin, and makes my skin feel silky smooth!
First off, I LOVE the smell - it is truly incredible (if you love bananas), but it also made my hair feel super soft!
The only thing is that the smell does not linger on your hair, especially if you layer other products! I now I really want to try the conditioner to see if that keeps the scent!
So, that is the end of this post! I hope you enjoyed it and stuck with me to the end! Here is my new Video featuring most of these products and my first impressions of them!
Got a new video for you (if you haven't already seen it!) I'm just getting into YouTube - as I think it's a great way to get more in-depth reviews and more personal with everyone!
This weeks video is all about What is in my bag for University...I love my cambridge satchel and think it is a great practical piece, while still being very stylish :P
If you enjoyed the video I'd love it if you could subscribe and like :) Also, if you have any requests for future videos - please let me know in the comments!
I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely day!

I know my blogs have been seriously lacking as of recent because I just haven't been in the mood to blog/video :( However, the other day I just felt like filming my Everyday Makeup - it has been slightly updated since my last blog post on it (which I wrote last year!) And I have finally sussed (I think) how to edit videos - except that YouTube doesn't like long videos so cut mine! So expect more videos soon!
I hope you enjoy this video and have a lovely day!
I'll save you all my excuses for my absence; but I've been super busy and struggling with motivation to do anything (let alone blogging!) But I've finally sorted my January Favourites, and it's a little different this time as I have uploaded a video! I must warn you - I was very nervous and my editing skills are not up to scratch…yet!
That aside, I hope you enjoy watching the video - I'd love to get some feedback on what you thought (please be nice!) and what you would like to see in future videos.
